Who says you can’t go home? Certainly not the men of the 1980s sitcom Full House.
Dave Coulier and former cast members Bob Saget and John Stamos joined forces for a yogurt commercial, to be aired during this year’s Superbowl.
The trio starred as Uncle Joey (Coulier), Danny Tanner (Saget) and Uncle Jesse (Stamos) in the sit-com that aired from 1987 to 1995. The show also featured Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as Saget’s adorable on-screen daughters.
The three had a reunion of sorts coming together to promote Dannon Oikos yogurt, which Stamos has been a spokesperson for since 2011.
In the commercial, viewers see Stamos enjoying a container of the yogurt in his kitchen while watching sports on the television. The camera then pans out a bit, and picks up Saget and Coulier sitting with Stamos, while in their PJs.
Stamos then says, “What do you say boys? Time to go to bed?” Saget responds with “Don’t you think it’s time we all get our own places?” After Coulier yawns, the three in unison say “Nah.”
Watch a clip of the commercial for yourself:
Members of the cast have kept in touch since the show ended 18 years ago, and the three boys are often photographed together. With the exception of the Olson twins, the cast got together in 2012 for an event.
Although no official word has been given, there could be a Full House reunion in the works. Candace Cameron Bure, who played DJ Tanner in the show, has previously said she would be willing to participate.
“It’s been thought about for a long time,” said Bure in an interview. “A lot of things would have to work out for that to happen. I keep saying, never say never.”
Fingers crossed!
