Dave Coulier confirmed via Twitter on Thursday that he has signed on to appear on the Full House reboot, Fuller House.
Dave Coulier played surrogate Uncle Joey on Full House to ‘nieces’ D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle Tanner. Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin–who played D.J. and Stephanie–are reprising their roles.
Fuller House–set to air via Netflix in 2016–will follow Candace Cameron Bure’s character, a newly widowed mother of three, as she teams up with her fellow single mom, Full House BFF Kimmy Gibbler (played by real life BFF Andrea Barber) and younger sister Stephanie to help raise her family.
Bure, Barber, and Sweetin signed on to star in the series right away. Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, and the Olsen twins–Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen–engaged in talks to reprise their roles. The Olsen twins claimed a couple of weeks back, however, that they were never informed of the reboot. John Stamos said that simply wasn’t true.
Yes, I'll be on the Fuller House reunion. And this guy, Mark Cendrowski will be directing. #cutitout https://t.co/EEPN5JOhdu

Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Kimmy Gibbler, John Stamos, and now Dave Coulier, too, will begin filming Fuller House this summer. It will be interesting to learn which–if any–of the rest of the Full House gang will sign on to appear in the reboot, too,
