Our little Topanga is all grown up! That’s right, Danielle Fishel from one of the Disney Channel’s most popular shows, “Boy Meets World”, has tied the knot!
Fishel, who played Topanga on the long-running teen series, married her real life sweetheart, Tim Belusko, on October 19. The actress wanted to keep the ceremony “short and sweet”. “The most important thing is that the day feels authentic to us,” the bride recently told PEOPLE. “We’re traditional, but also a bit wacky!” Fishel was very excited to announce her wedding as the best day of her life via Twitter.
10/19/13 was one of the most amazing days of my life. The love in the room was palpable and overwhelming in the best way possible. #love

Ironically, Rider Strong, who played Shawn Hunter in the series, also got married on Saturday, and was not able to attend Fishel’s wedding. He admitted that the scheduling issue was “his fault” because Fishel “chose the date first”.
However, her on-screen love, Ben Savage, who played Corey Mathews, was able to there to congratulate the beautiful bride.
Strong also took to Twitter to tell his fans and family that he was “off to get hitched”.
Thanks for all the nice notes everyone. Off to get hitched. Next time I tweet, I'll be a married man.

Fishel told her new hubby that Savage will always be her “first husband”. “He knows that Ben and I have been together for a long time as an on-screen couple,” she explained, “and to a certain extent when you’ve been with someone for 20 years like that, it’s impossible to have none of that rub off a little bit in person.”
Good news for you “Boy Meets World” fans… Fishel and Savage will be returning for a spin-off of the series called “Girl Meets World”. The new show will debut sometime next year and will be about the pairs daughter.
