Danica Patrick may be having a slow season on the track, but she’s still got mucho street cred when it comes to being a tough chick who can haul ass. Maybe that’s why she was tapped by country star Miranda Lambert when it came time to pick a partner in crime.

Lambert’s new single, “Fastest Girl In Town”, has just been released with a video which is one part “Dukes Of Hazzard”, one part “Thelma And Louise”, and one part “sexy bad girls do bad things while being sexy”. It’s not a new concept, but I think these two pull it off pretty well. Although I worry about those leather shorts Danica is rockin’ in the dead of summer.

At any rate, have a look at the video. I kinda think it takes some cues from Aerosmith’s “Crazy”, which is the epitome of girls going wild (sneaking out of school to go hit the stage at a strip joint? Awesome).
