This current season of ABC’s hit dance/reality show Dancing With The Stars (18) is turning out to be such an eventful season, and we have only just completed the show’s third week. For this upcoming week’s show, Dancing With The Stars will be doing something that it has not ever done before: mixing up the star contestants with different pro dancers, which the show has called “The Switch-Up.” For this week’s “Switch-Up,” the judging panel will be accompanied by professional dancer, singer, and songwriter Julianne Hough (a.k.a. Derek Hough’s sister).
This past week (week three), the guest judge spot on the judging panel was presented by Good Morning America host Robin Roberts. For this week, Dancing With The Stars pro-dancer alum Julianne Hough will be taking the guest judge seat for the unique “Switch-Up.” This is not the first time that Hough has guest judged on the dancing show. Hough originally guest judged on October 7th of 2013, when she became known for slamming pro-dancer Mark Ballas during her first guest judge appearance.
For those of you who are newcomers to the Dancing With The Stars world, Hough (25) started competing during the hit ABC dance/reality show’s fourth season and has won first place two times with American short track speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno and Brazilian auto racer Hélio Castroneves. Unfortunately, Hough has not returned to the Dancing With The Stars ballroom since season 8, when she decided to further her career in the singing and acting worlds.
Excited to be back judging on @dancingabc #dwts in a couple of weeks! Did I hear right? That may be… http://t.co/0gQgm8trEL
