Last February, Ne-Yo and her girlfriend Crystal Renay were rumored to have secretly married, after being spotted wearing matching tattoo rings of their initials.

Crystal tattooed Ne-Yo’s initials of his real name on her left hand.

But Ne-Yo just recently tweeted that He and Crystal are not married, yet. But he surprised us all when he broke the news they are engaged and will be having a baby.

“Clearing the air,” Ne-Yo tweeted on Monday. “@mscrystalrenay and I are ENGAGED to be married next year. And yes we are expecting. #FromTheHorsesMouth.”

Meanwhile, Crystal Renay posted a black and white picture of her wearing Calvin Klein underwear, with Ne-Yo affectionately holding her baby bump. Crystal Renay captioned it, “’No matter what they say’ our Miracle is on the way and I couldn’t feel more blessed. You’re negativity means nothing to us. We are happy, we’ve BEEN happy and will always be HAPPY no matter what they say.”

Crystal Renay also thanked the people who were happy for them.

Ne-Yo and Crystal have been dating since early 2014, and celebrated their anniversary in Hawaii last June.

Crystal Renay’s bestfriend, Angelica first hinted the engagement on her Instagram post congratulating the couple for the baby and for the unconfirmed engagement before.

She reposted their picture and captioned it, “Screaming congratulations on the upcoming wedding and the baby bundle to my favorite couple and best friends @mscrystalrenay @neyo. Can’t wait to meet the beautiful angel a miracle of life #GodMommy #mscrystalrenay #LoveHappy.”

Now that Ne-Yo officially announced the news, he earned a lot of criticism over the news because of his past relationship with Monyetta Shaw, mother of his chidren, Madilyn, 4, and Mason, 3.

Ne-Yo defended himself on social media while Crystal Renay just posted a picture showing her cradling Ne-Yo’s head and captioned it, “Rest your soul chocolate, I’m watching over your heart now #neyo #CrystalRenay.”
