Kim Kardashian and her family are so busy posing for pictures of greased-up buttocks and nipples to remember that Christmas is coming.

“I think what we’re going to do this year is — we’re a little confused this year because we ran out of time,” Kim told Glamour U.K.

Over the years, the reality TV family has sent out over-the-top Christmas cards, but that isn’t happening this year.

“I think this is the first year that we’re not doing our card,” Kim said, “but what we’re going to do is, at our Christmas party we have this amazing photo booth so we’re going to do like a compilation and do a New Year’s card.”

In the past, their Christmas card has been an elaborate photo of the ever-growing Kardashian-Jenner family including Bruce Jenner, the Kardashian women, and Lamar Odom.

So, the absence of a man on the arm of both Kris and Khloe has nothing to do with it? Nor the scandal it would raise if their currently-rumored men were there? Or, worse, no there? Or Bruce Jenner’s progeny in the picture, but not Bruce himself?

The possibility of a Christmas photo looks more and more like planning for a political summit meeting every year.

But Kim reassures everyone that, despite the lack of tradition, they will still do something fun. “We’re all going to get together at the beginning of the party and make sure that we all get photos together and do this whole thing,” she said. “So that’s kind of what we came up with, but we’re kind of sad, we just couldn’t get it together. And where is everyone? Y’know, this one doesn’t want to be in it, this one does want to be in it, so who knows …”

In the interview, Kim also spoke about her first Christmas as a “Kardashian-West.”

“I don’t know [what to get Kanye],” she said. “It’s the hardest thing ever because he spends all year doing so many amazing things for so many people, and he’s so good to me, so Christmas and birthdays are the times that I wanna go out and do something really really really nice. I, I don’t know. And if I say it here, what I’m thinking, he’ll hear about it.”

Good news is that if the family picture falls through, they can always use a version of Kim’s Paper Magazine shoot. Happy Birthday, Jesus!
