Chrissy Teigen recently posed for a provocative photo shoot with W Magazine, and, being proud of the results, she wanted to post the images on Instagram. However, the image-sharing site removed it due to their policy on nudity, and the model isn't having it.

Teigen promised her followers on Twitter that they would see the photo again.

"The nipple has been temporarily silenced but she will be back, oh yes, she will be back," she wrote.

Chrissy tried using various filters and coverings, but the image was still too full of skin for Instagram, who removed it more than once. For Chrissy, being nude or nearly nude is just a comfortable thing, and she doesn't understand why it's caused such a fuss.

"The most uncomfortable I've ever been on set was having to model coats. I actually am better in less clothing," Teigen said in her interview with the magazine.

Chrissy Teigen isn't the only woman to have an issue with the nudity policies on social media; an entire movement called Free The Nipple has sprung up dedicated to eradicating the sexualization of women's bodies.

"For me it’s about being the way you want. It’s just a body part. Boys have breasts and nipples and it’s fine for them to expose them. The same should apply to us," said Heiður Anna Helgadóttir, chair of the Feminist Association of the University of Iceland.

It's unclear at this point whether Teigen will convince Instagram to keep her photos up, but for her and her fellow models, shooting nude isn't about enticing the opposite sex.

"When you're shooting nude, there’s always a sense of empowerment," said Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
