On Wednesday attorneys for Chris Brown and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, rejected plea deals for recent assault charges.

In October the R&B singer, along with his bodyguard, were arrested after a man said they assaulted him. Apparently the man tried to get in on a picture Brown was taking with two other people outside the W Hotel in Washington D.C. when Brown and Hollosy allegedly assaulted him. Brown and Hollosy were charged with one count of misdemeanor simple assault.

One of Brown’s attorneys, Danny Onorato, said they rejected the plea deals because Brown is not guilty.

Prosecutors believe they have surveillance video that will prove otherwise. Though they did not say what it shows, prosecutors will be turning over the surveillance video soon.

Fans and supporters came out in D.C. today. They were there as Brown entered the courthouse and were still there when he left. There were so many people outside the courthouse that US Marshals had to be present.

Many on Twitter were happy to see Brown looking more like his old self, instead of the bleached blonde hair look he had been sporting for quite some time..

Not long after his arrest in October Brown checked himself into rehab and one person on Twitter thinks his time in rehab is doing him some good.

Another hearing is scheduled for February 20 where Brown’s attorneys expect a trial date to be set.
