The North Pole is melting, and now there’s a pretty shocking video to prove it.

The North Pole Environmental Observatory captured some stunning images of huge chunks of ice turning to liquid after a heat wave swept through. Even after a massive April snowstorm, the ice didn’t stand a chance against rising temperatures. By the end of May, almost half the snow was melted already.
