It seems the whole eating right and working out regularly thing really is the way to go when it comes to losing weight and keeping it off. Who would have known? Chaz Bono, that’s who.
In November 2012, Bono made a decision to lose weight when he tipped the scales at 250 pounds. At that time, his goal was to lose 50 pounds. He more than succeeded in that mission, when in April he had lost 60 pounds, weighing in at 190 pounds. He lost another five pounds by the time May rolled around. And it seems Bono has not given up.
On Wednesday, Bono was photographed running errands in Los Angeles showing off his continued weight loss. All his hard work is paying off, just take a look for yourself.
His new weight loss goal is 80 pounds total, and it seems Bono knows exactly what to do to reach his new goal.
The weight loss hasn’t been the only difference the 44-year-old LGBT activist has noticed. Bono said, “I just have a lot more confidence and that feels really cool. I really like what I see in the mirror.”
He lost that weight by eating healthier, having prepared meals delivered to his home from Freshology. As well as seeking out help from and working with Dr. Travis Stork, co-host on The Doctors, and doing mixed martial arts.
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant knows that to keep the weight off, he’ll have to continue with his current lifestyle. “I’ve been eating the same way now for months and months and that hasn’t changed. I’m going to have to eat this way for the rest of my life,” said Bono.
Bono showed off his weight loss even earlier in the year, when in June, he posted this photo of himself on Twitter with the cast of the play Independence Day. (He’s the fourth one from the left with some guys arm around him. In case you can’t find him. Just thought I’d help you out.)
