Charlize Theron was spotted enjoying a stroll along a Malibu beach with her son, Jackson, as well as boyfriend Sean Penn. Theron and Penn have spent a lot of time as a new couple recently, having been spotted on romantic dinners and even on a weekend getaway to the San Francisco area.

Sean Penn seems as enamored with Charlize Theron’s son as he is with her–and was seen frequently rubbing the boy’s head or walking with him hand in hand along the beach. Neither of the adults seemed afraid of expressing physical affection for one another in public, further lending credence to the fact that they are involved in a romantic relationship.

Penn owns a beach house in Malibu where it appears Theron and son Jackson spent most of the weekend. They seemed like a picture perfect family when spotted checking out marine life and pointing out a starfish to Jackson.

Charlize Theron starred along with Kristen Stewart in Show White and the Huntsman and is expected to star in the upcoming sequel in the near future, too.

Sean Penn is big on fundraising for Haiti, which was, of course, ravaged in the earthquake there a few years ago. His recent Help Haiti Home Gala is his biggest fundraiser of the year. Charlize Theron attended the gala with him this year, where he was heard telling CNN’s Piers Morgan that she is “a keeper.”

Do you think marriage might be in the cards for Charlize Theron and Sean Penn? He certainly seems right at home with her little boy. The three were spotted on a grocery shopping trip recently and as she shopped he joked with little Jackson, who rode happily in the shopping cart.

Theron, who has never been married, has dated Third Eye Blind front man Stephan Jenkins and was involved in a nine-year relationship with Irish actor Stuart Townsend. Sean Penn was married to Madonna back in the 1980s, but the couple divorced after four years. He married Robin Wright Penn from 1996 to 2010.
