Celine Dion has sustained yet another heart wrenching blow. The Canadian singer’s brother Daniel Dion died early Saturday morning of cancer. Just days ago, she lost the love of her life, Rene Angelil–her husband of nearly 22 years–to cancer.

A rep for the singer confirmed her brother’s death to E! News. David Dion was one of Celine Dion’s 13 siblings.

Claudette Dion, another of Celine’s siblings, recently told Le Journal de Montréal that family members, including their mother, were sitting vigil at his bedside.

“He was ready and he no longer suffers,” Claudette told Le Journal de Montréal on Saturday. “It was serene.”

It’s not yet known if Celine Dion was at her brother’s bedside when he passed away, however CBS News reports she was able to visit him in recent days. Since suffering the loss of her husband, she has likely stayed very close to her children.

Celine Dion and Rene Angelil have three sons together. Rene-Charles is 14, and twins Nelson and Eddy are five.

Condolences are no doubt going out in great volume to Celine Dion over the passing of both her husband and her brother.
