Catelynn Lowell shared a photo of what must have been her favorite Christmas gift last week–a sparkly new round-cut diamond ring–and says it includes a very special stone.
Lowell and beau Tyler Baltierra have been together for several years and had a daughter together, but ultimately chose to put her up for adoption. Their relationship has been documented at length on MTV’s Teen Mom, and the couple are apparently still going strong. Baltierra recently wrote on Instagram, “She’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. She’s everything I want that I never knew I needed. She’s the most selfless, kind hearted woman that I’m lucky enough to call mine” and surprised her with the ring on Christmas Day, which includes a small diamond to represent their second child, a girl due in early January.
The couple will be seeing quite a big year in 2015; not only will they welcome their daughter, they will see their book, Conquering Chaos, hit bookshelves in March. According to the book’s summary, the story will hold nothing back.

Baltierra has certainly become a favorite for fans of the show as he consistently posts sweet messages to Catelynn on social media and has stood by her side through a slew of tough times.
“Women are the bearers of life, something men will never understand. Lucky to have such an amazing woman by my side,” he wrote recently on Instagram.
