Carrie Underwood had a few moments of sheer panic on Saturday when she realized that on a hot summer day her dogs had inadvertently locked both themselves and her four-month-old son inside her car.
Fortunately the country singer wasted no time doing what she knew had to be done. She smashed the glass on one of the windows on her vehicle so she could unlock the door and save both Isaiah and her dogs from the sweltering heat.
Carrie Underwood shared word of her ordeal via social media.
When your dogs manage to lock themselves, all your stuff & the baby in the car & you have to break a window to get in. #WhatAreTheChances

Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott sympathized with Carrie Underwood.

Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher welcomed baby Isaiah back in February.
Kudos to Carrie Underwood for breaking her car window to get to her baby and dogs right away. Each year in the U.S. both children and pets die because they are left too long in a hot vehicle.
