Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner were conspicuously absent from the plane full of supermodels who headed for the Victoria’s Secret London tour this week. Instead the two went to Austria, where they walked in Karl Lagerfeld’s Métiers d’Art show in in Salzburg.

“It’s a big deal in the modeling world that Kendall and Cara are skipping the Victoria Secret Fashion Show to go to Austria and walk in Karl’s show,” a source tells People magazine.

Kendall Jenner–who is still relatively new to the modeling scene–is reportedly taking her cues from Cara Delevingne.

“Kendall is Karl’s new girl and it’s a bold statement, because its been Kendall’s dream to walk in Victoria’s Secret. But she followed in her BFF Cara’s footsteps and took her advice to go with Karl,” the source added.

Cara and the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star are no doubt having an amazing time. Some even speculate the two might make a stop in London after Karl Lagerfeld’s show.
