What better way to recover from a separation than to join a reality show, especially when it was probably a reality show that caused your marriage to crumble in the first place? It seems that’s the logic Bruce Jenner is using these days, as he’s in serious talks to be on the next season of “Dancing With The Stars.”

The story was first reported by Us Weekly, and according to the magazine, Jenner has a strong interest in joining the show, just like his two step kids did, Kim and Rob Kardashian. If you remember, Kim placed 11th in season seven, and her brother Rob scored the number two position behind actor J.R. Martinez and his partner Karina Smirnoff.

At 64-years of age, it doesn’t seem like Jenner is slowing down much, and he still looks relatively fit. And now that he’ll probably have a smaller role on future episodes of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” it seems like he’s trying to take on new projects and keep himself on TV. Which of course is the main goal for most reality stars.

However, Jenner may be using “Dancing With The Stars” to take his mind of his marital situation, and with all the practice and training the show calls for, it just may be the perfect distraction for him.

In the latest season of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” it seems it was Jenner who sparked the separation, since he decided to stay in his Malibu home, while his wife Kris stayed in the family home. “To be honest, I just don’t see myself going back,” he tells Kris. “We both seem to be doing better with our space…..Our family is strong. We will survive.”

But will the former-gold medal winner survive all the grueling training that’s required for the dance show? Probably, because it looks like he keeps pretty active and exercises regularly. But whether he’ll take the trophy and the number one spot is another story entirely.
