Bruce Jenner and his ongoing transition will be highlighted on a two-part special airing on the family’s reality show. Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce will not only detail what’s going on with Bruce, but Kris Jenner’s reaction to it as well.

People magazine reports that Kim Kardashian has a very emotional conversation with Kris Jenner during a promo for the upcoming two-part show.

“He has to deal with this for his entire life, of waking up and feeling like, ‘Whoa, this isn’t my body, this doesn’t feel comfortable,'” Kim says of Bruce Jenner. “That’s the only way I can kind of imagine it, and you really have to like, let go.”

Kris Jenner laments that it “sometimes feels like it didn’t exist” when she remembers specific times during her life as Bruce Jenner’s wife.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce will air on E! beginning on May 17th at 9 p.m. ET. It will feature “intimate conversations and intensely emotional moments,” according to a network release, with Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Scott Disick and Kendall and Kylie Jenner each weighing in “as they work through hearing from Bruce directly about finally living his life as the person he’s always known himself to be.”

The two-part series is executive-produced by Bruce Jenner. He hopes to “help other families experiencing the same thing” and also “includes family home video footage that reminds viewers and the family of the special times they spent with Bruce as a father, husband and friend.”
