If you were hoping against all hope that Bruce and Kris Jenner would work it out, that dream was violently dashed to pieces on Monday.
That’s when we received the official word that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians matriarch had put in the paperwork that would put her officially back on the market.
The Los Angeles, Calif. Superior Courthouse confirmed the divorce filing with US Weekly, which reports that the 58-year-old showbiz mom filed the documents without a lawyer.
The reason for the divorce? Chalk it up to everyone’s favorite explanation: “irreconcilable differences”.
Kris Jenner married Bruce more than two decades ago. The pair have two children together; 18-year-old Kendall and 17-year-old Kylie.

Because daughter Kylie is still a minor, it is reported that her parents intend to share joint custody.
Thus far the split seems to be amicable enough. There will be no war for spousal support on either side. Property rights have yet to be determined.
It was reported exclusively by US Weekly that Bruce Jenner and his ex had separated nearly a year ago.

Despite the ending of their marriage, it seems that the two are still close.
They celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary back in April and it’s clear that there are no hard feelings on Kris Jenner’s part.
She told US, “We are united and committed to our family.”
She insisted that the two of them are “happier this way”.
The big question that has emerged out of this has to be this: Exactly WHAT is Kris’s last name going to be once the divorce is finalized? Will she keep her Jenner name? Will she go back to Houghton (her maiden name) or even Kardashian?

She’s been Jenner for as long as she’s been in the public eye, so it would feel a bit odd to know her as anything else.
