Britney Spears is receiving backlash after posting a poolside photo of herself in a barely-there bikini on Saturday, with accusations that she used photoshop to make herself look simply great.
Once the photo was posted, fans began commenting that the photo of the 34-year-old Pretty Girls singer was a fake.
Some fans have pointed out that a patch of concrete seems to be missing underneath the small of her back in the photo posted to Instagram.
“@britneyspears That skinny part of your back is so photoshopped, whoever did it forgot to put the path in,” one fan tweeted, as reported by Us Weekly, while another wrote: “It’s been Photoshopped under her back. Where’s the pool’s edge? Clearly a photoshopped back arch.”
Even if the photo was tweaked, a second photo of Spears with her son Jayden James, nine, and her niece Lexie (oh and her abs) proves that she is in great shape.
While Britney may have taken a day off, she is still hard at work on her Las Vegas residency. Recently, Britney reworked her Piece of Me show at The AXIS to feature new costumes and the song Breathe on Me.
“I’m not ready to leave Vegas yet! And I just really really love this show and this city,” Britney told E! News. “I’m so proud of the show, and my band, my dancers and my crew have all become such a family to me. When it came down to me really having to make this decision, I just couldn’t imagine ending my residency at the end of this year.”
In December 2014, Britney Spears revealed to Women’s Health how she maintains her fit beach-ready figure.
“I like my workouts to be effective in a short amount of time,” she told the magazine. “I start with 20 minutes of intense cardio — usually running — move on to light free weights, body-weight exercises such as pushups, squats, and situps, then finish it off with a stretch.”
