The second half of “Breaking Dawn”–the last installment in the “Twilight” series–will feature an adorable new character in the form of Edward and Bella’s daughter, Renesmee. And although fans have already gotten a glimpse of her through Jacob’s eyes in the first part, this time she’ll actively be onscreen with her human mom and vampire pop in a speaking role.

The approach to Renesmee’s character has fans curious, as the way she is depicted in the book may be difficult to translate onto film. But director Bill Condon has faith in 11-year old Mackenzie Foy’s talents, as do real-life couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

“It’s a hugely important part,” said Condon. “They were amazing with her. It really brought something paternal out in Rob, and Kristen was especially protective. I’d have to interrupt them when they were in deep conversation to get going with a scene.”

Both Pattinson and Stewart definitely bonded with Foy, saying she even looks like them.

“Even our hands look similar,” Stewart says. “It was kind of strange. But it’s funny how it actually helps. It’s like, ‘Oh, hey, you look like me, kid! Come on!’”
