Brandy Norwood can’t get a fan anymore. Not even when she sings on a subway car in New York City.
Recently, Brandy Norwood, know to most as just Brandy, took on a starring role as Roxie Hart on Broadway’s Chicago.
Brandy Norwood was ecstatic to be taking on the role and a new life in New York City. She celebrated by becoming unrecognizable and singing on a subway car. It didn’t go well.
In her blog, Brandy Norwood wrote, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay in New York. Ever since moving here in April I’ve made sure to REALLY experience the city. I’ve hung out in Central Park, Times Square, ridden the bus, and I’ve gotten accustomed to taking the subway too. I feel like a real New Yorker. I’m learning the streets and everything, y’all!”
She continued, “There’s something different about NY. The energy and the drive of the people is just DIFFERENT. I like it! Recently, Frank Silent and I took a little subway ride after I’d left the gym. Frank, his camera, and I always equal a good time.”
Then, Brandy Norwood set up the fateful and awkward video like, “I decided to hit the subway and sing my little heart out. You’ve GOTTA check out this video and see why this fun-filled morning left me asking: Can a Sistah get ONE fan?!”
Warning: This is one super awkward video.

I sort of feel bad for Brandy Norwood, but applaud the dude that tried to help her out!
What a sad state for Brandy Norwood to be in! Oh well, at least she has her Broadway career ahead of her!
What did you think of Brandy Norwood’s subway performance?
