Bobby Brown is experiencing a wide range of emotions–one of them elation and the other a profound sadness no parent should ever have to endure.

The New Edition singer welcomed a new baby girl this weekend with wife Alicia Etheredge. Another daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, clings to life in a hospice facility outside of Atlanta.

Bobby Brown left Bobbi Kristina’s bedside several days ago to fly to L.A. so he could be with his wife before she gave birth to their second child. The couple has a five-year-old son, too.

It was on Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles that the newest member of Bobby Brown’s family made her way into the world.

Bobbi Kristina Brown is fading away quietly in her hospice bed, surrounded by as much insanity as loving friends and relatives. A member of Bobby Brown’s family reportedly took a deathbed photo of the only child of the late Whitney Houston and is supposedly shopping it around to major tabloids. So far none of them have taken the bait.

Bobby Brown’s sister Leolah Brown is irate that the media claims a member of her family took the purported photo. She is even angrier that all members of her family–except for Bobby Brown–have been banned from Bobbi Kristina’s bedside.

Hopefully Bobby Brown has a good support system of people to help him through these best and worst of times. Sadly, the worst is still yet to come. While it is certainly unknown how much longer Bobbi Kristina will cling to life, it’s likely the end is near.

Bobbi Kristina has been unconscious since she was discovered facedown in her bathtub back on January 31st. Bobby Brown believes his daughter’s boyfriend Nick Gordon is responsible for her current state.
