Bobby Brown returned to the Atlanta-area hospice bedside of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown on Thursday, along with close friend Tyler Perry. Perry arranged for his private jet to fly the two men from California, where Bobby Brown welcomed his baby girl, Bodhi Brown, into the world a week ago. What a mixed bag of emotions he is surely feeling as he rejoices in the birth of one daughter, yet waits for another to to take her last breath.

Tyler Perry visited with members of the Houston family as he joined them sitting vigil at Bobbi Kristina Brown’s bedside on Friday. This is just one of several times the actor has visited with Bobbi Kristina and lent his support to Bobby Brown since this tragedy occurred.

Bobbi Kristina Brown has remained unconscious since she was discovered in her bathtub back on January 31. Bobby Brown has refused to allow her boyfriend to visit her. Nick Gordon has been served with a $10 million civil lawsuit. That suit alleges her physically abused Bobbi Kristina and withdrew money from her bank accounts without permission. One such withdrawal took place after she was discovered unconscious, and was lying in a hospital bed fighting for her life.

Bobby Brown feels certain Nick Gordon is responsible for what happened to Bobbi Kristina. An investigation is ongoing, and it’s uncertain whether Gordon might be charged with murder when Bobbi Kristina passes away.

Imagine for one moment walking in Bobby Brown’s shoes. One second he relishes the joy of a new baby girl–born just over a week ago. And then reality forces him back inside that hospice facility, to the bedside of another daughter, who is slowly dying at the age of 22.

It’s clear that Bobby Brown desperately needs friends like Tyler Perry in his life right now. Hopefully that friendship will not only sustain him through the coming days, but in the days after Bobbi Kristina passes away, too.
