Fulton Country District Attorney Paul L. Howard Jr. said in a statement obtained by People magazine that the criminal investigation into her death is ongoing.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s toxicology report found marijuana, alcohol, “a cocaine-related substance,” sedative and anti-anxiety medications and morphine in her system. The medical examiner could not determine whether the presence of morphine was the result of heroin use.
The report was released on what would have been Bobbi Kristina’s 23rd birthday.
Bobby Brown released a statement regarding Bobbi Kristina’s death investigation the same day the autopsy report was unsealed.

“We will continue in our efforts in the civil lawsuit and the criminal investigation,” he said.
It was back in September when Bobby Brown’s attorney accused her live-in boyfriend, Nick Gordon, of causing Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death.
“In regards to the civil litigation, we believe we know who harmed Bobbi Kristina Brown, and his name is Nick Gordon,” a statement read at that time.
A conservator for Bobbi Kristina also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Nick Gordon, alleging he “injected” her with a “toxic mixture.”
Nick Gordon maintains his innocence. He believes the unsealed autopsy report proves he didn’t kill Bobbi Kristina Brown.

It seems authorities are still working on that angle.
Bobbi Kristina’s autopsy report answered some questions, while others remain very prominent in the minds of both investigators and family members.
Did Bobbi Kristina Brown attempt suicide? Was her overdose and drowning accidental? Or did Nick Gordon inject her with a mix of drugs and put her in the bathtub to die?
