Bobbi Kristina Brown spent her 22nd birthday in a medically induced coma. Meanwhile Nick Gordon, the boyfriend she referred to as her husband, filmed an episode of The Dr. Phil Show, during which Phil McGraw will attempt to stage an intervention. The episode will air next Wednesday, March 11th.

Nick Gordon reportedly suffers from drug and alcohol issues, and is under investigation for the circumstances under which Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered unconscious in her bathtub over a month ago.

Per a CBS press release, Dr. Phil will offer Nick Gordon, “the treatment he appears to so desperately need as he battles drug and alcohol addiction.” His mother Michelle will appear with him on the show. She is expected to talk about what her son went through following the death of Whitney Houston three years ago.

Nick Gordon will supposedly talk about the “severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks” he says that he has been experiencing ever since finding Bobbi Kristina Brown unresponsive back on January 31st.

Banned from the hospital by Bobbi Kristina’s family, Nick Gordon has gone public via Twitter in an attempt to be allowed to sit by his girlfriend–and the woman with whom he was raised by Whitney Houston–at her bedside.

Do you expect Nick Gordon’s appearance on The Dr. Phil Show will work to his advantage? Will it somehow prompt the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown to allow him inside her hospital room? Or is it a ploy to make him appear like a damaged soul, who had no knowledge of what might have taken place inside the home he shared with Bobbi Kristina Brown before she was discovered face down in her bathtub?
