Bobbi Kristina Brown marked the five-month mark on Sunday, from the date she was found facedown in her bathtub in her Roswell, Georgia home. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston has been in a coma since then, with–according to grandmother Cissy Houston–little hope for recovery.

Bobby Brown’s sister Leolah Brown–an aunt of Bobbi Kristina Brown–posted a recent update on Bobbi Kristina’s condition, and she still insists that her niece will make a full recovery one day.

Us Weekly says Leolah Brown posted to her Facebook account that isn’t accessible to those who aren’t friends with her. It’s important to note that Leolah Brown is one of the relatives Bobby Brown suggested people pay little to no attention to back when different family members were updating the public on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition, without having permission to do so, or accurate information to share.

“We are allowing her to just continue healing in God’s Grace and Mercy,” Bobby Brown’s sister reportedly posted on her Facebook page. “Please continue to be patient with us. You have no idea how much my brother Bobby and Bobbi Kriss are grateful and appreciates your kind words and prayers! In fact, we are all grateful to Almighty God for allowing us to still have Krissi with us!”

It was only about a month ago when Cissy Houston said of her granddaughter, “I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive. Meeting with the doctors and understanding that she can live in this condition for a lifetime truly saddens me. We can only trust in God for a miracle at this time. Keep us in your prayers.”

The future doesn’t appear bright for Bobbi Kristina Brown. It’s sad that people like Leolah Brown keep instilling false hope in those who love and care about the young woman.
