Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, was one of the first to see the New York premiere of Annie, the upcoming musical film directed by Will Gluck and produced by Will Smith and Blue Ivy’s rapper father.
Blue appeared outside of Manhattan’s Ziegfeld Theatre with her parents decked out in light gray fur coat and a black dress. Beyoncé matched her daughter dressed in a black and white striped coat and a gray dress. Jay-Z completed the look with snazzy gray suit.

Although the 2-year-old didn’t pose for pictures with the cast, her parents could be seen with the film’s child actors including 11-year-old star Quvenzhane Wallis.
In 2013 Wallis became the youngest actress ever to receive a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Hushpuppy in the critically acclaimed drama Beasts of the Southern Wild. Although she did not win in her category, she received many other awards for her portrayal of that role including the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Leading Young Actress.
Blue Ivy made her first public appearance with her parents in August when she joined Jay-Z onstage at the MTV VMAs to support mother Beyoncé who received the Video Vanguard Award.
When Blue was born Jay-Z released “Glory,” a song dedicated to her. It also detailed he and Beyoncé’s pregnancy struggles including a miscarriage. At the end of “Glory” Blue is credited as B.I.C., becoming the youngest person to ever appear on a Billboard chart.
