Bindi Irwin channeled her inner Jennifer Grey this week as she and Dancing With the Stars pro partner Derek Hough recreated the iconic Dirty Dancing dance routine Grey and the late Patrick Swayze became so famous for.

Dancing to the song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough scored a perfect 40 out of 40 possible points.

Olivia Newton-John served as guest judge on Dancing With the Stars this week, and was thrilled with Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough’s performance

“It touched my heart,” she said.

Bindi Irwin was thrilled with the success with which she and Derek Hough executed their dance moves.

“It was amazing,” she said. “Going out there, I was so, so terrified, just because it was so different from anything that we’ve done yet in this competition so I was scared but Derek was so strong and we managed to get that lift. I’m thrilled.”

Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough got so involved in recreating their Dirty Dancing dance that they went one step further. The two even recreated the iconic water lift scene Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze did in the film.
