Bindi Irwin channeled her inner Jennifer Grey this week as she and Dancing With the Stars pro partner Derek Hough performed an iconic Dirty Dancing dance routine.

Recreating the famous danced first performed by the late Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, to the song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough scored a perfect 40 out of 40 possible points.

Olivia Newton-John served as guest judge on Dancing With the Stars this week, and said of Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough’s performance, “It touched my heart.”

Following her performance, the daughter of Terri Irwin and the late Steve Irwin said, “It was amazing. Going out there, I was so, so terrified, just because it was so different from anything that we’ve done yet in this competition so I was scared but Derek was so strong and we managed to get that lift. I’m thrilled.”

Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough got so involved in recreating their Dirty Dancing dance that they even recreated the iconic water lift scene Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze did in the film.
