Billy Ray Cyrus apparently feels he is qualified to proffer words of wisdom to Justin Bieber. Should he perhaps try out that advice on daughter Miley Cyrus instead? Regardless of what people think, Billy Ray really did share his words of wisdom for the As Long As You Love Me singer, who appears like he is in a downward spiral and plummeting fast.

So what exactly does Billy Ray Cyrus think Justin Bieber should do?

“I would say, first of all, hey, I’m sure he’s got lots of people talking to him right now. I would just invite him to come down and chill out with me, maybe in Tennessee,” Cyrus said. “Let’s go up to the teepee, build a fire, step away and just, you know, maybe take a break for a little bit, just think about what’s important. Get back to life. … Build a fire, count the deer and the hawks and relax a little bit.”

Billy Ray says he has always been a big fan of the Biebs.

“He’s got a long life ahead of him, and I’d like to see him just kind of maybe, enjoy a little bit of what he’s got and focus back on the music,” he said. “He’s a great artist.

Daughter Miley Cyrus even spoke up regarding her concern for Justin a couple of months ago.

“He’s trying really hard,” she said. “People don’t take him seriously, but he really can play the drums, he really can play guitar, he really can sing. I just don’t want to see him f**k that up, to where people think he’s Vanilla Ice. I tell him that. Like, ‘You don’t want to become a joke. When you go out, don’t start shit. Don’t come in shirtless.’ But the thing is, I think boys are, like, seven years behind. So in his head, he’s really, like, 12.”

Maybe people have misjudged both Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus. Their words of advice for Justin Bieber don’t sound all that ridiculous. In fact, maybe Justin should spend a week or so hanging out with Billy Ray in Tennessee–and then be shipped directly to a rehab facility where he can get some hard core help for what certainly appears to be a drug and alcohol problem.
