  • Here’s an entire album that just might be a must-buy for music lovers of all ages. Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, The Who, The Cure, Brian Wilson, Alice Cooper, and Willie Nelson are just a few of the music legends performing Paul McCartney songs for a tribute album in honor of the former Beatle. The CD drops on Tuesday, November 18.

The album, called The Art of McCartney, will feature 42 cover songs and be available in different formats which include a double-CD and box set. Fans can expect quite an eclectic array of songs from the ever-popular Yesterday to the more obscure Junior’s Farm. Additionally, musicians from all genres perform on the album from the smooth stylings of Smokey Robinson to the hard rock of Kiss.

Los Angeles producer Ralph Sall has been working on the tribute album for over ten years. Every track is backed by McCartney’s current band.
