Bill Cosby might realize one of the worst nightmares of his life if wife Camille Cosby is deposed under oath, with regard to several women who have filed defamation lawsuits against the former Cosby Show star.

On Thursday, lawyers for Bill Cosby’s wife filed an appeal, citing a marital rule that doesn’t allow a spouse to testify about private marital conversations.
In December, Magistrate Judge David Hennessy refused to quash a subpoena from those lawyers wishing to depose Bill Cosby’s wife. Hennesy discovered there is a rule in Massachusetts–a marital disqualification rule–that doesn’t apply to testimony given at a deposition. This means there’s no reason Camille Cosby can’t be deposed.
Approximately 50 women so far have gone public with claims of the sexual misconduct they allegedly suffered at the hands of Bill Cosby. Seven of those are part of the aforementioned lawsuits.

Lawyers are especially interested in deposing Bill Cosby’s wife, because she also served as his business manager.
Do you expect Camille Cosby’s lawyers will be successful in preventing her testimony? Do you expect if they aren’t that Bill Cosby’s wife would lie under oath about her husband’s actions?
