An insider close to former Disney star Ashley Tisdale has confirmed that the 28-year-old is now engaged to boyfriend Christopher French. Source says that Tisdale’s boyfriend popped the question atop the Empire State Building last night in NYC.

Tisdale formerly starred in the Disney channel series, “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” as well as the tween hit “High School Musical.”

Tisdale’s own tweet from last night ignited the engagement-rumor fires (her rep confirmed it today):

French, the voice for Los Angeles-based band Annie Automatic, previously dated another gorgeous blonde, “Big Bang Theory” actress Kaley Cuoco. He and Tisdale have been dating since December 2012. There are no other details at this time for the pair’s wedding plans.
