Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were reportedly a no go for the upcoming Full House reboot, Fuller House. Now a new report says it may not be a done deal.
Ted Sarandos is the chief content officer of Netflix. He recently hinted that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s decision might not be as definite as it first seemed.
“The Olsen twins are teetering on whether or not they’ll be around,” he said while addressing a gathering at the 2015 Television Critics Association in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. “We’ve been able to reassemble all of the [rest of the] cast.”
It still doesn’t sound like the Olsen twins will be in the first few episodes of Fuller House.
Wait a minute… Could Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen still return for #FullerHouse?! http://t.co/CsDzu4ehG5 pic.twitter.com/WQnxLx7IrD

“They’re not in the current creative,” Sarandos added. This means they could still be written in if they opt to join the cast later on.
In the meantime filming has started on Fuller House, with actors John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Bob Saget, and Dave Coulier reprising their Full House roles.
If Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen change their minds and reprise their role as Michelle Tanner, how do you suppose they would work it out? When they were little, each was only allowed to spend so many hours on set. That’s certainly not the case any more, however.

Do you think Fuller House will fare well without Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? Or do you believe the show needs the Olsen twins to achieve Full House-type success?
