A rare sighting of Ashley Olsen with her beau, 47-year-old Bennett Miller, occurred in New York City last Sunday. The 28-year-old star of Fullhouse was seen stepping out of her apartment with Miller in a cream-colored top and plush sweater, looking loose yet chic, while her boyfriend set out in ultracasual jeans and t-shirt. Photos of them were snapped as they made their way to a waiting SUV.

Olsen, who today is a millionaire businesswoman and designer, started dating the Moneyball director after she separated from her ex David Schulte in January. Olsen and Miller have rarely been seen in public together, choosing to keep their relationship low profile. However, they made an appearance at Philip Seymour Hoffman’s funeral in February to support each other. Miller had worked with Hoffman on the 2005 movie Capote, which he also directed.

Miller also directed the movie Moneyball, which was nominated for several Oscars and starred Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill. His upcoming film Foxcatcher stars Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo and Steve Carell, and is also generating Oscar buzz for its gritty performances. Chances are Olsen and Miller will be making appearances at more red carpet events when the film is released in November.

Before her split from Schulte, CEO of luxury eyewear brand Oliver Peoples, Olsen also dated actor Justin Bartha and restaurateur Scott Sartiano. One insider who talked to US Weekly about Schulte, said, “He was a great guy and cute, but it didn’t work out.”

Ashley shares her love for older men with twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen, who is engaged to French businessman Olivier Sarkozy, 45. Olsen and Sarkozy have been dating for two years and are engaged to be married. The third Olsen sister, Elizabeth Olsen, is 25 and also engaged to be married to actor Boyd Holbrook, 32.
