When we talk about supermodels, fashion and runways, we often think about women who are size 1 or even 0, skinny and sexy.
Well, we might need to rethink that!
Ashley Graham defied the traditional supermodel standards when she walked the runway on Tuesday for her latest lingerie line for Canadian brand Addition Elle at New York Fashion Week.
Graham is a size 16 and curvy. She flaunted her assets as she strutted, wearing a cut-out bra and printed sheer panties under a kimono.
Graham was very happy with the show and shared photos afterwards on Instagram.
Other full-figured models also joined Graham, wearing lingerie which included black, blue and purple bras and corsets with sheer and lace detailing. And they totally rocked it!
“What an amazing experience!! All the girls looked amazing,” Graham also posted on Instagram.

The fashion show was also used to encourage women to embrace the body that they are in. During the show Graham encouraged everyone to use hashtag #IAmSizeSexy to promote positive body image and diversity.

Graham previously posed for Sports Illustrated‘s 2015 swimsuit as one of their first plus-size models. She also modeled in a campaign called #PlusIsEqual with Lane Bryant.
“Everyone deserves to see themselves being represented equally. #PlusIsEqual is showing that curvy women are accepted, they’re represented and being made a priority in the fashion industry,” Ashley told the Huffington Post. “We definitely still have more progress to make, but campaigns like this and #IAmSizeSexy are raising awareness for body diversity and continuing these great conversations.”
Graham proved that being sexy and beautiful doesn’t mean you have to be skinny, it’s embracing your body and being positive about it.
