Ashlee Simpson married Evan Ross this weekend at the Connecticut home of Ross’s mother, Diana Ross. Simpson is the sister of Jessica Simpson, who served as matron of honor at the wedding. Ashlee’s son Bronx, from her previous marriage to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz, was the ring bearer.

Ross, who is an actor, stars in the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. It is set to hit theaters in November. Simpson has tried her hand at both acting and singing.

Ashlee Simpson retweeted the photo, adding, “My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii!!!”

Jessica Simpson shared this Instagram photo of herself with sister Ashlee Simpson at Ashlee and Evan’s engagement party back in March. Jessica captioned the photo, “Celebrating my best friend and sister @missbananahammock @ashleesimpsonofficial. I love her so much!”

Family members and friends from both the bride and groom’s side traveled to Connecticut for the nuptials. Ashlee Simpson wore Neil Lane jewelry to accompany her wedding gown and her engagement ring. It will be fun to see what her wedding gown was like once those photos are released.
