Anna Duggar apparently was well-aware that her husband, Josh Duggar, 27, had molested five minor females when he was 14.

Josh Duggar admitted that he fondled the breasts and genitals of four of his sisters and one other minor female, according to The Inquisitr.

The Inquisitr reports that Josh Duggar told his parents, his father contacted police and church elders about a year after the allegations surfaced in 2006, but was never arrested.

“His dad says he was sent to a rehab center, but his mother, Michelle, says that he was really sent to a family friend to do manual labor and build houses,” according to the Inquisitr. “Josh and his father both say that he and his victims received counseling, although it is unclear the nature or duration of that counseling.”

Of course, with a family so well-known, speculation is growing over which of his sisters were molested.

Wife Anna Duggar knew about the molestation and released a statement to People, saying she knew about Josh molesting his sisters before they were married, adding that he received counseling after the molestations, which “changed his life.”

Anna Duggar did not say how counseling affected his sisters.

Anna Duggar continues to stand by husband Josh Duggar and even praises his “openness and humility.”

“I can imagine the shock many of you are going through reading this. I remember feeling that same shock. When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes,” Anna Duggar said.
