Anna Duggar Dresses Her Infant Girl In Pants, Sparks Social Media Debate

Anna Duggar has been careful to avoid too much spotlight recently in light of her husband Josh’s scandals, but she’s still active on social media, and so is her family. Now that Josh is reportedly spending time in a rehab facility following the news that he cheated on Anna with the Ashley Madison site, Anna has relied on her family members to help out with their four children, and recently a photo of her youngest sparked a debate on Instagram.

Duggar family cousin Amy and her husband Dillon shared a photo of Anna and Josh’s little girl wearing blue jeans recently, and fans went to town in the comments section. The issue lies with the fact that the Duggar females famously wear only skirts or dresses, sometimes with leggings under them for the little ones. The fact that the baby is wearing blue jeans has some wondering what the appropriate age is for girls to stop wearing pants.

“I think they let the younger girls wear pants under the dresses until they are old enough to know the proper way to sit,” one commenter wrote.

“As do we little ones need modesty too,” wrote another.

Isn't she so cute!!!! #Meredith @annaduggar

One commenter wondered why it matters how much skin a baby or young girl shows, no matter what religion the family practices.

“Why does it matter how much skin a baby or little girl shows? Do you guys think babies and little girls are sexy? Do babies arouse Duggar men?” wrote Jennyleabenny.

Josh Duggar made headlines in May when news broke that he had sexually abused several underage girls when he was 14, including some of his sisters. Jessa and Jill Duggar sat down for an interview with Megyn Kelly to come forward as two of his victims, but said they had forgiven Josh a long time ago. Despite his public apology, TLC canceled 19 Kids And Counting and Josh resigned from his job at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. to move back home to Arkansas.
