Anthony Weiner was a bright star in the Democrat Party. As a US House representative from New York , Weiner had become a media darling and campaigner for health care reform, one of the most vocal advocates of single-payer health care in Congress.
But, Anthony Weiner’s career came to a grinding halt when he sent lewd pictures of himself to young women – not his wife – via Twitter. The pictures became public. Weiner denied them at first. But, he was eventually forced to acknowledge them and resign from office.
And, the man who brought him down, who took those pictures public, was Andrew Breitbart.
Now, friends of Breitbart are saying that he had told them recently before his death that he was in early talks with CNN about a television show that would feature him and Anthony Weiner together.
According to the Daily Mail, friends of Breitbart say he told them that the program would have been a “Crossfire-style show in which he would argue from the Right alongside former US House representative Anthony Weiner taking him on from the Left.”
CNN has not made comment on the rumor, nor has Anthony Weiner.
