Google acquired WIldfire back in 2012 to bring its social media marketing services to its own customers. It started integrating it into the DoubleClick platform last summer.
A couple months ago, the company announced hat it would close Wildfire to new customers, and limit its investments in the Wildfire Suite. It said it would continue to integrate it into its other products.
You may be wondering about what to do to transition to another service. Socially Stacked has put out an infographic that may help. It not only looks at Wildfire, but North Social, which was recently acquired by Vocus as well.
