Google acquired WIldfire back in 2012 to bring its social media marketing services to its own customers. It started integrating it into the DoubleClick platform last summer.

A couple months ago, the company announced hat it would close Wildfire to new customers, and limit its investments in the Wildfire Suite. It said it would continue to integrate it into its other products.
