Amy Schumer is not one to shy away from telling it like it is.
Amy Schumer also made it (colorfully) clear that she won’t apologize for who she is at the 2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday.
In her foul-mouthed acceptance speech for the trailblazer of the year award, Amy Schumer spoke about the ease with which she can, ahem, get some action whenever she wants, no matter how much she weighs.
She said, “I’m probably like 160 lbs. right now, and I can catch a d— whenever I want. It’s not a problem. It’s not a problem.”
Amy Schumer hasn’t always been so secure in her body, though.
Watch her speech here, but be warned that it’s NSFW.
In fact, during her speech, Amy Schumer spoke of a time in her life when she struggled with her self-image in college.
“I told that story just about, like, losing your self-esteem and then finding it. And no, I’m not going to apologize for who I am and I’m going to actually love the skin that I’m in. I’m not gonna be striving for some other version of myself.”
Amy Schumer also took the time to poke fun of women’s magazines, ironically enough.
She said, “Yeah, I make fun of women’s magazines a lot. They’re great fodder, and some just make you feel bad for just being born with a p—-.”
No one puts things quite like Amy Schumer, I don’t think!
