  • In it’s fifth season, Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee has seen it’s share of big names. Larry David began the series and others followed including Ricky Gervais, Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks, David Letterman, Tina Fey, and Jon Stewart. The latest episode, which appeared this Thursday, stars comedian, writer, and producer Amy Schumer.

It was a smoking hot show. Literally. As Seinfeld drove Schumer up the West Side Highway in a “fly yellow” 1971 Ferrari, it began to smoke and make strange noises.

“This is so scary,” Schumer said. “It’s comforting to know how I’m going to die, I guess.”

“What did you think of me before this?” Seinfeld asked after they pulled off to the side of the road.

“I had so much respect for you, like, an hour ago.”

After getting safely out of the car they walked through the Bronx, yelling at trespassing kids and window shopping for bongs.

“Is this for crack?” asked Seinfeld.

“I think you can make anything for crack,” Schumer responded, not missing a beat.

After settling in a booth in an empty Bronx diner, Seinfeld complimented Schumer on her stand-up and Comedy Central Show, Inside Amy Schumer, to which she replied, “Is it worthless to compliment….you?”

Other topics included dating, alcohol, youth, and, of course, Schumer’s vagina.

Schumer’s Comedy Central show, which is divided into sketches and stand-up bits of varying lengths, first premiered on April 30, 2013 and continues to be met with mixed reviews from critics, although fans of Schumer enjoy it.

Recently, the 33-year-old broke ground on Comedy Central when she and her producer fought to say “pussy” on her show without getting censored.

As their coffee meeting ended, Seinfeld told Amy, “You always look nice.”

“There’s a team of people making me look this mediocre.”

Upcoming guests on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee include Fred Armisen and Jimmy Fallon.
