Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are fast approaching their third gig hosting the Golden Globes. Poehler says it will be the last time the two host the film awards show. Since the show is coming up in just over a month’s time, Poehler and Fey are already teasing fans about what designer duds they’ll don to enhance their hosting abilities.

The former Saturday Night Live stars appear in the show’s first promo, advertising the upcoming event.

“I will be wearing a Pierre d’Jambon romper with cheese and children’s ice skates,”Tina Fey joked.

“I’ll be wearing an ER bandage dress with stilts by the Ohio stilt king,” Amy Poehler added.

So why will this be the last time the two funny ladies host the Golden Globes? After all, they’re a hoot.

“Unless you want to be a perennial host, there’s nowhere to go but down!” the Parks and Recreation star explained on a recent episode of the Today Show. “We’ll be the Jay Z of the Globes and never retire.”

It seems unlikely that anyone would tire of the combination of Poehler and Fey. The two play off one another so seamlessly it’s uncanny. No other female comedy duo in history has done what Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have done together.

Can you imagine anyone besides Amy and Tina hosting the Golden Globes after three consecutive years of their antics? If so, who might take their place and impress fans even half as much?
