Amber Portwood may have dealt with quite a bit of drama in recent years, but it looks like things are getting better for the young mom.

The former Teen Mom star shared a photo of her five-year old daughter, Leah, twirling around while dancing to City And Colour. Portwood has shared several snaps of her with Leah, making silly faces or just hanging out, but the dancing photo received a lot of attention this week from fans who wished them both well.

Portwood was one of the original young mothers documented on the MTV reality show, and her personal life got very complicated when she was arrested for possession in 2011 and sentenced to five years in prison. She was released after 17 months just last November, and her fans are hoping that she’s turned things around.

Portwood and a few of the other Teen Mom stars have been in headlines this week due to a feud of sorts with former co-star Farrah Abraham, who says she left the show while rumor has it she was fired. Abraham moved on to a career in adult film and has been writing erotic fiction, but during a recent interview she made reference to Jenelle Evans–who is reportedly having another child–and slammed her choices, causing another reality star to lash out.

Abraham has not commented.
