Amanda Bynes recently shared some vacation photos on Twitter, and the troubled star is looking happy and healthy.

The actress, who just turned 28, has been in Cabo San Lucas on vacation and is reportedly doing well in school, news that has relieved her fans and those closest to her. After a tumultuous year that included arrests, reported substance abuse, and a breakdown that ended with Bynes setting a fire in a California driveway, the “Easy A” star was hospitalized in a rehab facility to take care of herself.

Bynes has been attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Orange County and is reportedly doing well there.

“Amanda is doing great and excelling in her studies,” Bynes family attorney Tamar Arminak said. “She is a natural when it comes to fashion and is really enjoying the learning process.”

A source told E! News that Bynes is so in love with school that she may not return to acting. The star’s screen career has been in question for quite a while anyway, as she announced that she was retiring before all the trouble began in 2012; however, Bynes is reportedly doing so well at school–and is excited about working in the fashion world–that she is focusing solely on that.

“She’s a great student who always participated and really cared about her classes,” the source said. “She really fit in and loves her school.”
