Al Roker saw another of his dreams come true this past week. The Today Show personality learned he scored a cameo appearance in the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot.

Carson Daly surprised Roker during the show on Tuesday.

“This morning we can exclusively reveal that a huge name is making a cameo,” Daly announced. “This is someone who is universally beloved, a national institution …”

Everyone at The Today Show was shocked by the news. None were more shocked than Al Roker himself.

“What? What?” he stuttered. “I didn’t even know this!”

But wait–there was more. Carson Daly revealed the rest of the surprise.

“You’re going to be playing the part of Al Roker,” he said.

“Yes!” Al Roker cheered.

This is the second time Al Roker has had a Ghostbusters-related surprise. Back in September, director Paul Feig invited Al to visit the set of the upcoming Ghostbusters film.

This has been an incredibly exciting week for Al Roker. He capped it off by dressing up as Charlie Brown, alongside his Today Show costars–for Halloween.
