Oscar and Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter, Adele, recently added another lauded notch under her belt.

After the monumental success of her album “21,” which sold more than 26 million copies worldwide, one would automatically assume that her latest feat would be career related.

But, it has absolutely nothing to do with music!

Its the one thing the singer's never had – a driver's license. On Oct. 11, an excited Adele took to Twitter to share the news of her latest accomplishment with her 18 million followers. Her ecstatic tweet read, "I passed my driving test this morning!!!"

However, the most gratifying part of it all was the actual process. The “Someone Like Me” singer passed the test with flying colors, answering only one question incorrectly. But, the interesting part of it all was that the driving instructor didn't even recognize her, which means there was no special treatment. Adele didn't slide through any cracks or cut any corners to achieve the goal, which makes victory even sweeter.

According to Inquisitr, Adele's driving instructor, Noel Gaughan, is actually one of the top instructors in the United Kingdom. As the owner of VIP Intense Driving Courses, Gaughan works specifically with those with hectic lifestyles and busy schedules. His accommodations usually serve as an attractive attribute to celebrities. It was reported that the 49-year-old instructor has administered driving tests for a plethora of celebrities, including Niall Horan and Edward Dwane of Mumford and Sons. However, he just didn't have a clue who Adele was.

“I didn’t know who Adele was so she started singing in her lessons. The problem was I didn’t know any of her songs,” said Gaughan. “She would sing some beautiful songs and say ‘you must know this one’ but I don’t really know many celebrities.”

However, this isn't the first time Gaughan has instructed a celebrity without knowing it. Gaughan also stated that he initially didn't know who Niall Horan was either until they stopped at a traffic light during the driving course. That defining moment of acknowledgment came when a number of fans rushed and swarmed the drivers' education vehicle.

The “Rolling in the Deep” singer also tweeted again showing her gratitude in regards to Gaughan's expertise. “Noel is a Dumbledore of roads,” Adele quipped. “Could not have done it without him and his jokes changed my life.”
