Adam Levine was the victim of a sugar-bomber as he arrived for a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday in L.A. The Voice judge and Maroon 5 frontman was entering the studio when he was suddenly pelted with powdered sugar. Half his face and much of his clothing was covered.
TMZ reports that Adam Levine was greeting fans when the sugar-bombing took place. They also report that he wasn’t happy about what happened.
It is uncertain if the sugar-bomber was protesting anything or was simply being mischievous, but he was detained by security and arrested for battery when the police arrived.
As lead singer of Maroon 5, Adam Levine is well known for belting out the lyrics to their hit song ‘Sugar.’ Maybe the sugar-bomber was simply an over-zealous fan?
